3 week project by Honduran Health Ministry and supported by UNICEF, offered counselling and support to breastfeeding mothers and trained counsellors were assigned to temporary shelters. WFP donated food rations & nutrition Cookies for lactaing mothers, UNICEF donated cups and storage containers for expressed b/milk. Most impt was interaction with mothers - one-to-one support, demonstrations, posters and leaflets. Voluteers receieved diplomas at the end.
