This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills to health workers who work with mothers and babies in areas with high prevalence of HIV infections. It enables health workers to counsel HIV-positive women about infant feeding decisions, assisting them to feed their infants as effectively and safely as possible in their circumstances. Not related to emergencies it provides some good pictures to use

NOTE: These tools were developed before the 2006 Consensus statement on HIV came out. Please review all HIV material to ensure that it is consistent with the consensus statement.
