- Somalia, breastfeeding presentation. Used it by in several trainings in CSZ. (central Somalia zone) but don't know who to - is quite medical
- Breastfeeding - Guidelines for Central and Southern Somalia (for TBA's) - DRAFT. Breastfeeding guideline is for TBAs, breastfeeding support groups and community motivators. It was written by Abdirizak Osman Hussein and Bertha Jackson in 2004. It has not been evaluated as it is still in DRAFT and has not been given to all partners and TBAs. (Note, in the picture of the breastfeeding child s/he is not latched on correctly - this would be very painful!)
- IEC Nutrition Workshop: TRAINING OF IEC FOCAL POINTS FOR PROMOTING IMPROVED INFANT AND YOUNG CHILD FEEDING AND MATERNAL CARE PRACTICES . UNICEF CSZ, Muslim Aid, COSV, CISP, in Sept 2004. IEC nutrition workshop was done by UNICEF CSZ and Abdirizak Osman Hussein was the facilitator in collaboration with some nurses from MUSLIM Aid, COSV italina and CISP staff member. It was conducted in 3 locations in the country in Sept 2006 attended buy 88 community motivators. The handouts are not available due to the security evacuation. There is the intention to rebuild for another training in 2008.
