Summary of latest recommendations regarding HIV and infant feeding following a 3 day meeting in October 2006 that aimed to clarify and refine the existing UN guidance. New evidence and research together with technical and programmatic input finally led to this statement that summarizes the information considered, and lists the recommendations from the consultation, which should be considered along with the October 2000 recommendations.
