NEX 9 : Catalysing nutrition scale-up through technical assistance, Part II

By ENN on 30 January 2018

In this podcast (Part II of this two-part series) we continue the conversation about Technical Assistance (TA) provided to SUN countries under the DFID funded TAN Programme. In the previous podcast we spoke to the global coordinators in the two providers of TA under TAN – Nutrition International and the MQSUN+ consortium (lead by PATH).

In this podcast Tui Swinnen, ENN’s Global Knowledge Management Coordinator continues the conversation about TA under TAN, referring specifically to two TAs delivered under the TAN in 2017 in the Philippines and Tajikistan. These are the two TAs discussed in the NEX article “A catalyst for scale-up in SUN countries: Experiences of technical assistance for Tajikistan and the Philippines”. In this podcast Tui speaks with Manpreet Chadha, Project Manager for Nutrition International-TAN Asia who oversaw the delivery of the Philippines TA, and Mutriba Latypova a consultant for MQSUN+ based in Tajikistan, working on the phased TA being delivered there.

This podcast provides excellent insights into what the TA process looks like at country level, how countries can benefit from TA, what some of the practical considerations are for getting the most out of this support.
