22 June 2015: New paper published in Archives of Public Health "M others U nderstand A nd C an do it (MUAC): a comparison of mothers and health workers determining MUAC in 103 children aged from 6 months to 5 years" by Blackwell et al.
17 June 2015: A new study by Jones and de Brauw published in World Development Journal (Volume 74, p.15-24) finds that a diet rich in orange sweet potato (OSP) reduced both the prevalence and duration of diarrhea in young children in Mozambique.
8 June 2015: Adolescents are a neglected group in terms of nutrition. An 'Adolescent Nutrition' report by Save the Chilren presents what is being done in Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) countries and India to address adolescent nutrition.

Tools and training
17 June 2015: The FAO offers free e-learning to meet the needs of agriculture and food security professionals. Courses include nutritional status assessment and anlysis, food composition data and agreeing on causes of malnutrition for joint action.
2 June 2015: A website is now available for ACF's nutritional causal analysis tool, Link-NCA, a mixed method to identify the most relevant factors leading to under-nutrition in a local context for improving Nutrition Security programming.
2 June 2015: IAP HealthPhone was launched on 2nd June by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and partners, the world's largest digital mass education programme to focus on mother and child malnutrition. 4 vidoes are available in 18 Indian languages for free.

22 June 2015: Report, presentations and videos are now available from the FAO "Livestock, Livelihoods and Human Nutrition" West Africa Regional Workshop, November 2014, aimed at integrating human nutrition into regional livestock programmes.
