17 August 2015: New paper in the Lancet (Volume 3, No. 9 e546-e555, September 2015) by Yotebieng et al describes the results of a cluster-randomised controlled trial of a breastfeeding programme on early initiation and exclusive breastfeeding in DRC. 

17 August 2015: A new paper in the Lancet (Volume 3, No. 9, e528-e536, September 2015) looks at trends and mortality effects of vitamin A deficiency in children in LMICs between 1991 and 2013. View this article here.

27 August 2015: Researchers at the University of Oxford have created a new app to help fieldworkers, clinicians and researchers quickly calculate newborn centile and z-score for weight, length and head circumference using the INTERGROWTH-21st standards.
